Definitive solution for panades
The top three treatments for effective and safe treatment of melasma.
The appearance of melasma is favored by exposure to ultraviolet and blue radiation, female hormones (exacerbation in pregnancy but also by taking contraceptives) and heredity. The term melasma has its roots in the ancient Greek word "melas", meaning "black", and describes an aesthetic problem that can be effectively treated with the help of a dermatologist.
The treatments
There are several treatment methods for melasma, which can be applied either individually or in combination depending on the case. First, we have the new generation whitening chemical peels with liposome technology, which penetrate the skin by carrying substances, such as trichloroacetic acid, retinol, tranexamic acid, kozic acid, azelaic acid, and are accompanied by a targeted deep action for spots and wrinkles.
The method is safe, does not cause redness, and after the treatment there is a mild peeling for a few days. The result is visible from the very first session.
Peeling is often preceded by a mechanical exfoliation stage with dermabrasion with diamond to remove dead cells and better absorption of active ingredients. A second category is whitening mesotherapy with new formulas that allow the pigment to break down even in the dermis (mesoderm). Thanks to their active ingredients, such as vitamins, trace elements and oligopeptides with a whitening effect, they work by targeting pigment deposition and at the same time regulate melanin production.
Maintenance is done at home with special whitening creams and quality skin cosmetics with a specialized formula of active ingredients. The treatment offers visible improvement from the first application, without irritation.
When the problem requires more dynamic solutions, i.e. when discolorations are combined with photoaging and dull skin, there are Fractional RF technologies, like e-Two System, Syneron-Candela. With a triple targeted action, the treatment reduces discoloration, improves the texture of fine wrinkles all over the face and eyelids, and also activates collagen production in the skin in a completely natural way. The method is painless, the erythema is temporary and exposure to the sun using sunscreen does not affect the result.
In every case of discoloration, the specialist is our dermatologist who will follow a personalized approach to diagnosis with dermoscopy and dermaanalysis.
